Biography
Nicholas "Nick" Albares is a Democratic candidate running for the U.S. Senate to represent Louisiana. A native New Orleanian, Albares has a background in public policy and nonprofit leadership, including serving as a healthcare policy adviser for former Governor John Bel Edwards during the state's Medicaid expansion. He currently works as the vice president for strategic development and public policy at Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana.
