Biography
NELSON F FREDERICK RIMENSNYDER served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1969 before beginning his career with the Congressional Research Service at the Library of Congress. He later served as Research Director for the D.C. House Committee and as the Chairman’s delegate on the National Capital Planning Commission for a decade. Since retiring in 1992, Rimensnyder has been active with the City Museum Project, the Washington Historical Society, and as Historian for the Association of the Oldest Inhabitants of the District of Columbia.
