Biography
Mujtaba Mohammed, born in Toledo, Ohio, is a public interest attorney with a J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law. Elected to the North Carolina State Senate in 2018, representing District 38, he is a tireless advocate for children and families, also serving on the NC Council on Developmental Disabilities and NC’s Task Force for Racial Equity in Criminal Justice.
