Biography
Montez Soliz is a Democratic candidate who sought to represent Illinois' 17th Congressional District in the U.S. House. A Rockford native, Soliz previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff for State Rep. Murri Briel. He was disqualified from the Democratic primary scheduled for March 17, 2026.
