Biography
Mitra Jalali is a former social studies teacher, organizer, and policy aide who has served as the Councilmember for Saint Paul's Ward 4 since 2018. She is the first Asian-American and openly LGBTQ+ member of the Saint Paul City Council, seeking re-election to her second full term.
