Mihaela Plesa

Mihaela Plesa is a lifelong Texan serving her second term as State Representative for Texas House District 70, which includes parts of Dallas, Plano, Richardson, and Allen. She is the first-generation daughter of Romanian immigrants and holds the distinction of being the first democratic woman elected to represent Collin County in the Texas Legislature, as well as the first Romanian-American elected in Texas. Currently, she serves as Vice Chair of the Texas House Democratic Caucus and the House Committee on Pensions, Investments, and Financial Services.
