Biography
Michelle Alvarez Barakat is a judge of the Florida 11th Circuit Court, having assumed office on March 27, 2019. She was recently appointed Administrative Judge of the Unified Family Court Division, where she helps set policies and procedures for Family, Juvenile Dependency and Delinquency, and Domestic Violence cases. Prior to her judicial career, which began in 2013, she served as Bar Counsel at the Florida Bar and practiced law in criminal and civil litigation for twelve years.
