Biography
Michael Vincent Lawler is a Republican who represents New York’s 17th Congressional District, encompassing parts of Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, and Westchester Counties. A lifelong Hudson Valley resident, he previously served as a New York State Assemblyman for the 97th District. In the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Lawler serves on the Financial Services Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee.
