Biography
Michael Lazzara, born in Palermo, Sicily, Italy, is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and owner of Lazzara Enterprises. He assumed office in the North Carolina State Senate, representing District 6, on January 1, 2021, after serving on the Jacksonville City Council and as Mayor Pro Tem for 12 years, and as President of the NC League of Municipalities.
