Biography
Michael Bost is a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Illinois' 12th Congressional District since January 2015. Prior to his election to Congress, Bost served two decades in the Illinois House of Representatives and was a firefighter for the Murphysboro Fire Department. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1979 to 1982.
