G. Mennon Campbell, Jr. is a Monroe criminal defense attorney and former Assistant District Attorney in the 4th Judicial District, per his law firm's site. Per the same site, he was born and raised in Monroe, earned a B.S. in aviation from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a law degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 2008.
