MATT DODSON

Matt Dodson is a 62-year-old Democratic Socialist from Farmington, New Mexico, running in the June 2, 2026, Democratic primary for U.S. Senate. A U.S. Air Force veteran and business owner, Dodson has a history of community organizing and has previously run unsuccessfully for various state and local offices. He was permanently suspended from the New Mexico Democratic Party last year following a dispute.
