MARY PELTOLA

Mary Peltola is a Democratic politician who served as the U.S. Representative for Alaska's at-large congressional district from 2022 to 2025. She previously held positions on the Bethel City Council and in the Alaska House of Representatives. Peltola, who grew up fishing salmon on the Kuskokwim, is the first Alaska Native member of Congress and the first woman to represent Alaska in the House. She is currently running for U.S. Senate to represent Alaska.
