Biography
Marty Jackley, a Republican, is serving his fourth term as South Dakota Attorney General and is running for the state's lone U.S. House seat in 2026. He previously served as U.S. Attorney for South Dakota and as Attorney General from 2009-2019. Jackley grew up in Sturgis and holds degrees in electrical engineering and law.
