Biography
Markus Winkler is a Democratic member and current President of the Louisville City Council, representing District 17 in Kentucky. First elected in 2018, he has served for five years. Born in Germany, Winkler holds a bachelor's degree from Centre College and an M.B.A. from the University of Memphis, and volunteers with organizations like the Boys and Girls Club.
