Biography
Maria Salamanca was elected to the Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) Board as the District 2 representative in 2022, becoming the youngest voice in district history following a student-led grassroots campaign. She is a 12-year student of the district across 6 different schools and earned her degree from UC Berkeley, where she studied Political Science and Legal Studies. Her career has focused on education policy and entrepreneurship, including eight years as a venture capitalist.
