Lisette Bonano

Bonano served 28 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a lieutenant colonel with roles in human resources, civil affairs, psychological operations and inspector general work, including deployments to Iraq and a role training the Afghan National Army in Afghanistan, per the campaign site. She also served as a Joint Staff plans and policy officer at the Pentagon focused on human rights advocacy in the Western Hemisphere, per the campaign site. She holds degrees in special education, international relations and educational leadership, per the campaign site.
