Biography
Lisa Blunt Rochester, a Democrat, was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2024, becoming the first woman and person of color to represent Delaware in the Senate. She previously served four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2017 to 2025. Her public service career in Delaware includes roles as Secretary of Labor and Deputy Secretary of Health and Social Services.
