Biography
Letitia "Tish" James is the 67th Attorney General for the State of New York, elected in 2018. She is the first woman of color to hold statewide office in New York and the first woman to be elected Attorney General. Since taking office in 2019, James has focused on lowering costs for working families, holding bad actors accountable, and protecting New Yorkers’ rights and safety.
