Biography
Leslie Denham is a Democrat who was elected to the Slidell City Council in 2018, representing District A. She currently serves as President of the Slidell City Council and Chair of the 2020 Census Count and Redistricting Committee. Denham is also a business owner and a retired educator.

- Responsible allocation of Community Block Development Grant (CBDG) funds.
- Economic development and effective use of FEMA funds for infrastructure projects, including drainage and streets.
- Reducing insurance costs by advocating for the completion and certification of levees in south Slidell.
