Biography
Lawrence J. Dupre is a Democrat representing Erie County's 1st Legislative District, having assumed office on July 25, 2024. A long-time resident of Buffalo's East Side and a product of Buffalo public schools, Dupre previously served as a Senior Legislative Assistant for Councilmember Bryan Bollman and as a Community Coordinator for Erie County's Central Police Services, where he led the Gun Violence Task Force.
