Biography
Larry Johnson, a Democrat, is running for election to the Georgia State Senate to represent District 10 in 2026. He previously served as a DeKalb County Commissioner for District 3 from 2002 to 2024. Johnson is also a former President of the National Association of Counties (NACo) and has a background in public health.

- Improving infrastructure and transportation networks, including regional transit and water systems
- Promoting economic development, workforce education, and job creation in manufacturing, urban farming, and technology
