Biography
L.D. Howard, also known as LaKeisha D. Howard, is an Independent candidate running for the Texas House of Representatives, District 124, in the 2026 general election. A U.S. Air Force veteran, counselor, and entrepreneur, Howard has dedicated over two decades to federal service, including advocating for veterans and founding non-profits focused on underserved communities. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Marketing.
