Biography

Krystle Melvin was appointed as a district court judge in the district covering Robeson County by Governor Roy Cooper in December 2023, per the Governor's Office. Melvin previously served as an assistant district attorney in Robeson County and as a staff attorney at the Cumberland County Department of Social Services, and earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia in 2009, per her campaign site.
