Biography

Kevin Kiley taught English at Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles and later worked as an attorney before serving in the California State Assembly from 2016 to 2022, per his official House biography. He was elected to the U.S. House in 2022 and changed his party registration to No Party Preference in 2026 while running in California's newly redrawn 6th Congressional District, per CBS News Sacramento. He grew up in the communities of California's 6th District, the son of a special education teacher and a doctor, and worked as a prosecutor and Deputy Attorney General for California before his 2016 election to the State Assembly, per the campaign site.
