Biography
Katie Britt is a Republican U.S. Senator representing Alabama, having assumed office on January 3, 2023. Born in Enterprise, Alabama, she earned degrees from the University of Alabama and previously served as president and CEO of the Alabama Business Council and chief of staff for U.S. Senator Richard Shelby. She is the first woman elected to the U.S. Senate from Alabama.
