Biography
Kathie Tovo is a candidate for the Texas House of Representatives, District 49. She previously served on the Austin City Council, representing District 9 from 2015 to 2023. Tovo holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas, and has taught in higher education.
