Biography
Karishma Manzur is a medical scientist with a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology, having spent over 20 years researching treatments for diseases like Alzheimer's. She is running in the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate and is based in Exeter, New Hampshire. If elected, Manzur would be the first Muslim American woman with a Ph.D. in science to serve in the U.S. Senate.
