Biography
Karen Perez is the incumbent Hillsborough County School Board Member for District 6 (at-large), first elected in 2018. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she moved to Tampa in 1979, graduated from King High School, and earned a degree from the University of South Florida, leading to a career in social work. She has held various professional roles in social work and founded Embracing Changes for Wellness, LLC in 2010.
