Biography
Karen Ortiz is a New York-born attorney and former U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Administrative Judge. She began her legal career working for a criminal defense attorney before pivoting to public service, including roles with the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation and MTA New York City Transit. Ortiz is running to restore accountability, protect human dignity, and deliver change.
