Kaohly Her

Kaohly Her, a refugee from Laos, was elected Mayor of Saint Paul, becoming the first woman and Hmong American to lead the city. She previously served multiple terms in the Minnesota House of Representatives for District 64A as a Democratic-Farmer-Labor member, holding leadership roles such as Majority Whip and Speaker Pro Tempore. Her background includes work in financial services, Saint Paul Public Schools, and as Policy Director for Mayor Melvin Carter.
