JULIE JAEHEE WON

JULIE JAEHEE WON is a Democratic New York City Council Member representing District 26 in Western Queens, and is running for Congress in NY-07 in 2026. Born in South Korea, she immigrated to NYC at age 8 and became the first woman, immigrant, and Korean American to represent her district. A mother of two and a Syracuse University graduate, she previously worked at IBM and held roles on Queens Community Board 2 and as a co-founder of the Queens Small Business Alliance.
