JULIE CATHRYN EMERSON

Julie Cathryn Emerson, born February 29, 1988, in Homer, LA, and residing in Carencro, LA, is a Republican who previously served as a Louisiana State Representative for District 39. She resigned from the House in February 2026 to become chief of staff to Governor Jeff Landry, following a brief campaign for U.S. Senate. Emerson holds a BS in Biology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and founded Lagniappe Communications Group.
