Biography
Jose Rivas Jr. is a 54-year-old retired Navy officer and former Texas Ranger who ran for Dallas City Council District 7 in 2025. A lifelong resident of District 7, he was born and raised in the Urbandale, Parkdale, and Buckner Terrace neighborhoods and is a graduate of Skyline High School.
