Biography
Jordan "J.G." Wright is the Democratic Assemblymember for New York State Assembly District 70, representing Harlem, NYC, since January 2025. A lifelong Central Harlem resident, he graduated from Syracuse University and previously worked as an educator and mentor. Wright also served on Community Board 11 and as chief of staff for NYC Councilmember Yusef Salaam.
