Biography
Joni Ricks-Oddie represents North Long Beach on the Long Beach City Council, proudly serving the Ninth Council District since her election in 2022. A UC Irvine statistician and epidemiologist, she brings scientific expertise and community advocacy to City Hall, focusing on equity, public health, and the needs of North Long Beach families. She chairs the Budget Oversight Committee and works to deliver measurable results for her constituents.
