Biography
Jonathan Derrick Evans, also known as Derrick Evans, is a Republican politician from West Virginia. He briefly served as a Delegate for the 19th district from December 2020 to January 2021, resigning after his involvement in the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot, for which he served three months in prison. Evans ran unsuccessfully in the 2024 WV-1 Republican primary and is now challenging for the same seat in the 2026 Republican primary.
