Biography
John Kennedy, a Republican, was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 2016 and re-elected in 2022, representing Louisiana. Before his Senate tenure, he served five terms as Louisiana State Treasurer. He currently serves on the Appropriations, Banking, Budget, and Judiciary committees in the U.S. Senate.
