Biography
John Goodman is a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Illinois, announcing his candidacy in March 2025 for the 2026 election. A Des Plaines resident, he is an Air Force veteran who served in Afghanistan and a former law enforcement officer with 12 years of experience. Goodman founded the nonprofit Scars and Stripes, Inc., which trains service dogs for veterans with PTSD.
