JOHN F. REED

John F. Reed is the incumbent Democratic U.S. Senator for Rhode Island, serving since 1997. Born in Providence in 1949, he is a U.S. Army veteran and holds degrees from West Point, Harvard Kennedy School, and Harvard Law. Prior to his Senate service, Reed served in the Rhode Island State Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives, focusing on issues such as housing, children's welfare, and mental health.
