Biography
John Cornyn, a Republican, was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 2002 and is currently serving his fourth term representing Texas. Prior to his Senate service, he served as a district judge, a member of the Texas Supreme Court, and Texas Attorney General. He also served as the Senate Republican Whip from 2013 to 2019.
