Biography
U.S. Senator John Barrasso, M.D. was sworn into the United States Senate in 2007, having previously served in the Wyoming State Senate from 2003-2007. A Republican, he is known as Wyoming's Doctor, having practiced as an orthopedic surgeon for 24 years. Barrasso currently serves as the Senate Republican whip and on committees impacting Wyoming's economy, energy, and public lands.
