Biography
Joel Brennan, born in 1970, is a Wisconsin executive and Democratic candidate for governor in the 2026 election. He served as Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Administration under Governor Tony Evers from 2019 to 2021, overseeing state budget negotiations and renegotiating the Foxconn contract. He later became president of the Greater Milwaukee Committee, and announced his gubernatorial candidacy in December 2025.
