Biography
Jimmy Van Bramer is a Democratic politician who served as a member of the New York City Council, representing District 26 from 2010 to 2021. During his 12 years on the Council, he chaired the committee on cultural affairs and libraries. Prior to his election, Van Bramer worked for over a decade as the Chief External Affairs Officer for the Queens Public Library.
