Biography
Jim Risch is serving his third term as a U.S. senator from Idaho, per the campaign site. After earning his law degree at the University of Idaho he became a prosecuting attorney, and at 27 was elected Ada County prosecuting attorney, serving two terms, per the campaign site. He later served in the Idaho Senate, where he held leadership posts including majority leader and president pro tem, was elected lieutenant governor in 2003, and became Idaho's 31st governor in 2006, per the campaign site.
