Biography
Jim Lewis is a Democratic candidate for Florida Attorney General in the 2026 election, based in Fort Lauderdale. He is a former Orange County prosecutor, special prosecutor, assistant statewide prosecutor, and assistant Attorney General, with over 45 years as a criminal trial lawyer. Lewis, who also served as an adjunct law professor, earned his B.A. from the University of Central Florida and his law degree in 1980.
