Biography
Jim Justice, a Republican, was the 36th Governor of West Virginia, serving two terms before being elected to the U.S. Senate. A lifelong West Virginian and businessman, he assumed office as a U.S. Senator on January 14, 2025, after winning the general election on November 5, 2024. As Governor, Jim Justice led the state to record budget surpluses and enacted the largest tax cut in state history.
