Jewel Kelly is an Air Force veteran and small-business owner who built a real estate business with his wife, per his campaign website. He holds a master's degree in legal studies from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, an MBA from Olivet Nazarene University, and a bachelor's degree in speech communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2018 he co-founded A Fighting Chance Foundation, a mental health and suicide-awareness nonprofit.
