Biography
Jared Wheatley is a candidate for Asheville City Council. An Asheville native and member of the Cherokee Nation, he is a local business owner and founder of the Indigenous Walls Project. Wheatley previously served on the Asheville Planning and Zoning Commission, from which he was removed, and this marks his first campaign for public office.
