JAMIE RASKIN

Jamie Raskin is a Democratic Congressman representing Maryland’s 8th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he was sworn into his fifth term on January 3, 2025. Before his election to Congress in 2016, Raskin served three terms in the Maryland State Senate, rising to Majority Whip, and was a professor of constitutional law for 25 years at American University’s Washington College of Law.
